raised by black nancy and the closest thing to a true serial killer the family has, johnny is a predator, in every sense. he uses his strength to stalk and overpower anyone he sees as weaker than him, which in his mind is everyone. in a family full of unpredictable maniacs, johnny is the most unpredictable of all, often clashing with the clan when his base instincts are impossible to ignore.

he's exceptionally manipulative, narcissistic, but also charming and quite attractive. he uses his good looks to his advantage by preying on unsuspecting strangers, luring them back to his family where they ultimately meet their demise.

the majority of johnny's scars are a result from victims fighting back, specifically his arms (iykyk). he's also a certified asshole that likes to pick fights. johnny has two very distinct scars, one of his left shoulder, and one on his face. the former is a result of a murder/attempted murder—killed his target, and quickly found out she had roommates. the latter is a result of trying to kill his "mommy".

nancy appears to be sweet and innocent, however, she's quite possibly the most vicious and vile member of the slaughter family. she's an expert at using her friendly looks to lure victims into situations they can't escape. nancy has been married four times, but each husband has died from mysterious causes. one husband simply disappeared. locals avoid her property at all costs, calling her "black" nancy, as death and despair seem to surround her.

nancy is also johnny's aunt, or so she says. nancy murdered his mother when he was a toddler, stealing him away and raising him as her own to fill the empty void her husbands couldn't. in the process, she turned johnny into a ruthless killer.
